About

Lee-Ann Curren is a French-American surfer, musician, producer, filmmaker, and multi-support visual artist born in 1989 in Biarritz, France. She comes from a family of surfers (her father Tom Curren is 3 times world champion) and started surfing at an early age. Despite a successful career in competitive surfing with 2 European titles before the age of 19, she quickly followed the urge to explore beyond it, surfing outside the box using different crafts, and nurturing her skills and interests in music, various visual arts, and filmmaking.

Lee-Ann has composed various soundtracks, directed two films, and released two mini albums under her name, with the latest being "Who Knows?" released in March 2023: a collection of 6 tracks Influenced as much by North American folk as by a more electronic and European sound.

As part of the Vans surf team, she directed the film "Cadavre Exquis" in 2021, which was a collaboration with 13 surfers, showcasing each one's surfing and creative world.
